New Coach, New Signings, Academy Players and more

Phoenix Rising FC hosted St. Louis City II in a Pre-Season friendly match as Coach Pa-Modou Kah looked to fine tune his squad tactics for the upcoming 2025 Season. The friendly match started off in favor for the home side, with an opening goal scored by Forward Remi Cabral. After intense gameplay, harsh tackles and a couple disciplinary actions from the ref; Phoenix Rising began to show their superiority on the ball. Phoenix would retain possession with the creativity of players like Hope Avayevu leading the pack which led to 3 more goals scored before the halftime whistle. Remi Cabral netted the second, and fourth goal to complete his hat-trick, while new signing Damian Rivera netted the third goal of the match. Nothing would change the scoreline in the second half and eventually Phoenix would come away with the 4-0 victory. Coach Kah full of confidence motivated his squad which consisted of several youth academy player who were given an amazing opportunity to compete for a spot in the main squad. Will we see more of these players throughout the season?
